Far Way Shipping Services was established to manage complex industrial and chemical cargo. Today, we engineer compliant cross-border logistics for high-value, hazardous and out-of-gauge freight, coordinating each movement from origin planning in China to destination operations and final delivery in the UAE.
Foundation
FSS began forwarding FMCG cargo between China and the UAE, developing expertise across origin booking, documentation, destination release and delivery. Manifest filing and delivery-order processing remained with external agents until these controls were later internalised.
China Presence
Establishing Ningbo Best International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. placed FSS closer to China’s manufacturing base. It strengthened FMCG operations through earlier cargo-readiness checks, export documentation, supplier coordination and better alignment with UAE arrival requirements.
Transport Capability
FSS added its first UAE truck and built a dedicated transport function around port release and final delivery. This established practical operating knowledge across the Emirates and a base for wider Middle East and cross-border execution.
In-House Manifestation
FSS brought Jebel Ali and Sharjah manifestation in-house, taking direct ownership of cargo data, vessel records and destination documentation before discharge. This tightened coordination across release and onward transport planning.
Internal Delivery Orders
Internal delivery-order processing completed a core UAE destination workflow. FSS then developed deeper expertise in DG clearance, regulated-cargo documentation and authority approvals, supporting energy related shipments that require technical documentation and local compliance coordination.
Carrier Relationships
FSS’s China carrier network, including COSCO booking relationships, supported its move into project business. Scope expanded into RoRo, oil-sector breakbulk and regulated EV charging equipment, involving dimensional review, stowage planning, applicable DG documentation and controlled destination handling.
Logistics Platform
FSS now supports global clients through a data-led network beyond the China–UAE corridor. Recent solar-project work combines freight planning, customs clearance and final delivery across the Middle East, while AI connected workflows and automated warehousing shape the next operating model.
